Privacy

Contact form
If you send us a message, we receive the name, email address and message you type. We use them only to reply to you, and they are not sold, shared or added to any marketing list.
Two services handle it on the way to us. Your message is checked for spam by Akismet, and it is delivered to our inbox by Twilio. Both receive what you typed. We keep a server log of the fact a message arrived, which records your IP address, and where a message is filtered as spam we log a one-way hash of the email address rather than the address itself, so we can find a wrongly blocked message without storing who sent it.
Analytics and tracking
We run no analytics of our own on this site, and we set no cookies. Our website provider, Cloudflare, adds a small script that records basic page view statistics. We block it on the pages where it matters most: our safety guides and our founder's story send a security policy that stops your browser loading or running it at all, so those pages load nothing from anyone else. Our web server and its network provider keep ordinary technical logs (such as IP addresses) for security. We do not sell, share or profile any of it, and we do not track you across other websites. Our safety guides are written for people who may be at risk, so if you want the detail of what those pages load, it is listed there.
Questions or corrections
If you want a message you sent us deleted, or have any privacy question, use the contact form and we will sort it out.
